Background: PMC Solutions, Inc. (PMCS) is a solutions provider for business process and project management analysis, development, and improvement services.  PMCS’ technical approach of process driven project results outlines proven methods of analyzing and implementing process management as a means to ensure that Information Technology and Information Services (IT/IS) program and project needs are met seamlessly and systematically.  PMCS is searching for qualified individuals to fulfill the personnel needs for a government IDIQ focusing on improving IT/IS for our client.

1) Project Management Analyst

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • To be determined—consideration for hire will be based off of applicant’s ability to meet the below desired qualifications
  • Will be required to follow a pre-determined set of practices, in conformance with the Rational Unified Process
  • Project will consist of managing the gathering of requirements, and designing, developing, implementing, maintaining and troubleshooting Information Technology (IT) applications

Desired Qualifications:

  • 5+ years demonstrable experience in Project Management
  • 10+ years of relevant Project Management experience will be considered in lieu of degree
  • Planning, managing and allocating resources, maintaining the schedule, facilitating determination of priorities, coordinating interactions with customers and users
  • Bachelors degree in a related field
  • Demonstrated experience in ensuring the integrity and quality of project results
  • PMP certification or SCRUM Master Certification is highly desired

Software Application Experience:

2) Business Process Analyst

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • To be determined—consideration for hire will be based off of applicant’s ability to meet the below desired qualifications
  • Project will consist of gathering requirements, and designing, developing, implementing, maintaining and troubleshooting Information Technology (IT) processes

Desired Qualifications:

  • 3+ years experience in:
  • Process Analysis and Configuration Management
  • Placing identified project requirements under version control in a manner that satisfies the IS/IT organization’s standards
  • Using a documented change management process to control changes to project requirements
  • Maintaining traceability between requirements, architecture, specifications, and work products
  • Developing procedures and operating instructions that support the project’s product
  • Process mapping softwares
  • 2+ year experience in four or more of the following attributes:
  • Modeling business processes, including content and information flows
  • Using appropriate software and methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, ISO, Malcolm Baldrige, ITIL
  • Identifying relevant stakeholders, obtaining stakeholder time commitments, eliciting needs, creating well-formed requirements, defining and writing functional requirements with techniques such as UML or structured use cases
  • Working with the Project and Program leads to determine the feasibility and desirability of meeting requirements
  • Working with a Project Architect to help determine a target architecture that meets requirements
  • Helping Verify & Validate requirements and all engineering artifacts
  • Participating in the project to ensure that requirements are either being met or modified to reflect changing conditions.
  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent
  • 5+ years of experience in the above listed attributes will be considered in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree

Six Sigma Green Belt Certification or higher, or demonstrated ISO 9000 and/or Malcolm Baldrige auditing experience is highly desirable

3) Special Skills Advisor Architect

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • To be determined—consideration for hire will be based off of applicant’s ability to meet the below desired qualifications
  • Project will consist of managing the gathering of requirements, and designing, developing, implementing, maintaining and troubleshooting Information Technology (IT) applications

Desired Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of extensive experience in developing large-scale and complex web systems
  • 2+ years of extensive experience in architecture design of those systems
  • 3+ years of direct experience is required in:
  • specific technologies or applications (such as Java, J2E, SOA),
  • open source technologies (especially those from Apache Software Foundation), or
  • vendor products such as:
  • Microsoft SharePoint 2010, including workflows, branding, InfoPath, and Designer
  • IBM products, such as Filenet, workflow manager,
  • BPM Tools
  • Formal certification or 10+ hours of formal vendor-authorized training is highly desirable
  • Demonstrable working knowledge of design patterns, server platforms, and middleware technologies
  • Demonstrable experience with all phases of software development life cycle, especially using iterative methodologies, such as the Rational Unified Process

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Project will consist of converting data from system design specifications and statement of problem and procedures to create or modify computer programs while applying knowledge of programming techniques and computer systems

Desired Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of programming experience
  • 5+ years programming experience in 3 or more of the following:

5) Server Administrator 1

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Support other server administrators in the design, installation, administration, and optimization of company servers and related components (physical or virtual) to achieve high performance of the various business applications supported by tuning the servers as necessary
  • Ensuring the availability of server applications, configuring all new implementations, and developing processes and procedures for ongoing management of the server environment
  • Where applicable, the Server Administrator I shall assist in overseeing the physical or cyber security, integrity, and safety of the server(s), data center, or server farm
  • This may also include cyber security support

Desired Qualifications:

  • 1+ years experience in managing and supporting network servers, preferably in a remote environment
