PMCS Contracted by USACE for Clean-Up Efforts in Joplin, MO

PMC Solutions Awarded US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Contract Modification to Support USACE Recovery Field Office in Joplin, Missouri

 

PMCS has been awarded a mod under our USACE-Kansas City IDIQ.  This contract is for the consultation and support of the Joplin, MO Recovery Field Office (RFO) as it carries out emergency recovery projects.  On May 22, 2011 Joplin, MO was hit with a devastating F5 tornado that ripped through the center of the town.  On May 23rd the USACE Kansas City District’s Emergency Management division initiated the RFO to support the following missions: Debris Removal, Critical Public Facilities, and Temporary Housing.  PMCS has been tasked with the implementation and maintenance of a Project Controls Management System that entails multiple levels of reporting, standard project schedules, and project controls processes.  The end objective is to document how project controls fits into a recovery effort for use in future RFOs emergency projects.
